Fashion finds: Target summer to fall

Is it me or has Target really upped their game when it comes to their clothing? Even when I'm going to pick up a few toiletries I can't help but wander through the clothing section and lately I've ALWAYS ended up buying at least one thing to add to my closet.

A few days ago I went to pick up a few new pillows for our house and ended up buying enough pieces to do an entire haul on. Oh and I didn't even get the pillows...

I will say though, I had a purpose for every piece of clothing I purchased. All of the pieces in this haul are very versatile specifically when transitioning from Summer to Fall. I truly think all of these pieces are great quality and I'll get a lot of wear out of each of them. I will have sizes and links to each item below.

Hope you enjoy!

Outfit 1: A New Day Blush jumpsuit with A New Day nude heels. This jumpsuit is perfect for a bridal shower or baby shower. I love the self-tie waist as you're able to make it as tight as you need it. It is a very comfortable material and I love the terra cotta color. I paired it with heels but you could easily wear sandals with it to make it more casual. It runs true to size (TTS), I'm wearing a size small. More on this jumpsuit in outfit 2.

Outfit 2: is the same blush jumpsuit but to transition it to Fall, I paired the A New Day snakeskin print shirt and changed my shoes to booties. My booties are Crown Vintage from DSW. To make it even more Fall you could pair a plain, long sleeve white t-shirt under it as well. You could also wear close toed booties or throw a jean jacket over it. This jumpsuit is so versatile and you can change the style in so many ways.

Outfit 3: A New Day Olive Maxi Dress. If you buy any piece from this haul, it should be this. This dress is so comfortable and fits perfectly. The number of things you could do with this dress is ridiculous. I paired it with the same heels from A New Day, but you could wear it with sandals to make it more casual in the Summer months. To transition to Fall, I would wear booties or slip-on sneakers. You could also throw a jean jacket on with it as well. I am obsessed with this green color but it also comes in black. I am wearing a size small. I could have gotten an XS but I like the looser fit of the small so from a sizing perspective it really depends on the type of fit you prefer.

Outfit 4: Universal Thread Belted Overalls. I like my overalls to fit a little loose and these are perfect. I am wearing a small and if I wanted a tighter fit, I could have gone with the XS. They're super comfortable and easy to throw on for errands. This is the type of outfit you can wear several different ways depending on the shoes you pair them with. It will also be easy to transition these into Fall with the kind of shirt you put under it. The material is lightweight which is good for those deceivingly hot fall days. I've styled it for Summer with an off the should white top and Crown Vintage Espadrille Sandals. (These sandals are so comfortable and easy to slide on yet still look put together. I get so many compliments on them every time I wear them somewhere). In the Fall I would put a long sleeve top under these overalls with booties or slip on sneakers. I also love how it's a tie belt so you can cinch it as tight as you want/need it. Of course I got it in the green color but it also comes in black which I'm really contemplating on getting too. You can't go wrong with a good pair of overalls!

Outfit 5: Universal Thread Baby Doll Dress. I have to be honest, I've already worn this baby doll dress over five times to work. It's seriously the perfect dress because you're able to dress it up yet it's so comfortable. I also love the three-quarter length sleeves. The color is absolutely perfect to transition into September and October. The website calls it Brown but it is definitely more of a burnt orange color in my opinion. I know I will still get a lot of wear out of it in the Fall when I pair it with some booties. In the picture I have it on with the Crown Vintage booties. Right now I've been pairing it with the A New Day block heels or sandals for a more casual look. I am wearing a small. I'm really into baby doll dresses right now and this one is a perfect addition to your closet.

Outfit 6: Universal Thread Collared Shirtdress. Target has been killing it with the color options lately. This shirtdress comes in a perfect color to transition into Fall. It is a marigold yellow but this dress is also available in a dark gray and a burgundy. It's super comfortable and the perfect amount of oversized. I am 5'5 and wearing a size small. It comes a little lower in the back which I like. In the picture I have it paired with Universal Thread platform, slip-on sneakers. I couldn't find these on their website to link but I know they're still available in stores. Also Target has so many cute other options for slip-on sneakers. You can pair it with sandals, heels, booties, the options are endless. This is another dress that I've already worn several times to work - it's so easy to throw on and go.

Outfit 7: Last but not least, I want to talk about this black Wild Fable Lace Trim Cami. I seriously almost bought a lace trim cami from a boutique for $42!! The next day I was at Target and saw this. It looks identical to the one I was going to purchase and it costs...FOURTEEN DOLLARS. You can do so many things with this cami. If I were going out on the town, I would wear it exactly how I have it styled in the first picture. If you want more coverage, this cami is super easy to throw on a jacket or kimono (like picture two). I know I will get so much wear out of this and for the price, you can't beat it. I got a size small. It has adjustable straps so you can tighten it or loosen it to fit how you like. I hope they make these in more colors because I would seriously buy every one.
